Quarter Turn: Arrow Puzzle
Who we are
Quarter Turn: Arrow Puzzle is published by Comet Barn. Comet Barn is a brand of Hamperpick Ventures LLP.
This policy explains what information Quarter Turn: Arrow Puzzle (“the game”) handles, why, and the choices you have. It applies only to the game; the Comet Barn website has its own privacy policy.
Information stored on your device
The game has no accounts and does not ask for your name, email or other personal details. The following stays on your device and is not sent to us:
- Your progress, scores, coins, items and settings
Android and Apple versions
Features and services can differ by platform. The Google Play, Android advertising choices and Google Play Games descriptions below apply to Android.
On iPhone and iPad, purchases are processed by Apple and validated through RevenueCat. We do not receive your full payment-card details. RevenueCat receives an app user ID, purchase history and Apple transaction information to confirm access, prevent fraud and provide purchase reporting.
On iPhone and iPad, rewarded ads use Google AdMob and are requested as non-personalized ads. They can still process device, network and ad-interaction information to deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud. Where required, you can change ad consent in Settings → Privacy options. Ad consent and Apple tracking permission are separate choices.
Local progress is not synchronized between Android and Apple devices. Purchase restoration is separate from game progress; consumed coins and power-ups are not a cloud save.
Advertising
The game shows ads only when you choose to watch one (for example, to get a hint). There are no banner or pop-up ads. Ads are served by Google AdMob.
When an ad is requested, Google AdMob may collect and use the following to show ads, measure them and prevent fraud:
- Your device’s advertising ID
- Your IP address (used for approximate location)
- Device and app information, such as model, operating system version and language
- How you interact with the ads you choose to watch
- Google AdMob’s privacy information: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Your choices
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game asks for your consent before any ads are requested, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy options. Everywhere, you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your device’s Android settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads). Not watching ads never blocks play.
In-app purchases
You can buy a pack of 15 hints or unlimited hints. Both are one-time payments; there are no subscriptions. Payments are handled by Google Play; we never see your card or payment details.
To confirm purchases and restore them on a new device, the game uses RevenueCat, which receives:
- A random app user ID created by RevenueCat (not your name or email)
- Your purchase history and receipts from Google Play
- Device and app information, such as operating system version, app version and country
- Your IP address
- RevenueCat’s privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
How we use information
Information is used only to:
- Run the game and keep your progress on your device
- Show the ads you choose to watch, and keep advertising fair and fraud-free
- Confirm and restore your purchases
- Answer you if you write to us
Sharing
We do not sell your information. Apart from the service providers named above, we share information only if the law requires it.
Keeping and deleting your data
Uninstalling the game, or clearing its storage in Android settings, deletes everything stored on your device.
On iPhone and iPad, deleting the app removes its local game save. Offloading the app can keep its data; device backups and platform purchase records are separate. Deleting the app does not delete leaderboard or challenge records on our server.
Apple purchase records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat as needed to process purchases, restoration, refunds and legal obligations. Consumable purchases and spent game currency are not guaranteed to be restored after reinstalling the app.
Purchase records are kept by Google Play and RevenueCat as needed for receipts, refunds and the law.
To ask about or delete any information connected to you, email support@cometbarn.com.
Children
The game is meant for people aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, email support@cometbarn.com and we will delete it.
Security
Information sent by the game to the services above travels over encrypted connections. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we choose providers that protect data with industry-standard measures.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the game changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will also be noted in the game’s store listing.
